Turkmen, Arab and Kurdish representatives from Iraq's Mosul gathered in an Istanbul meeting on Sunday where they agreed on strengthening the city's institutions in a bid to find a genuine settlement and boost cooperation between the city's residents.
Representatives of the three communities, the three founding groups as defined by a 1932 declaration of the Kingdom of Iraq, agreed on devising means and ideas to contribute to the efforts to find immediate and permanent solutions to the existing problems such as the displacement of certain groups in Kirkuk, and to maintain stability in the region.
